• Active Ingredients:

  • Cymoxanil 8% w/w (cyanoacetamide oxime) – local systemic with anti-sporulation action

  • Mancozeb 64% w/w (dithiocarbamate) – contact, residual fungicide that inhibits spore germination

• Formulation:

  • Wettable Powder (WP)

Disease Control Targets

• Effective against early & late blights (potato & tomato), downy mildew (on onions, cucurbits, roses), purple blotch (on onion), anthracnose (beans), and angular leaf spot (French beans)

 Modes of Action (Dual Mechanism)

1. Contact Protection: Forms a protective barrier on leaves, preventing fungal entry

2. Translaminar & Local Systemic Activity: Penetrates leaf tissue to reach both surfaces, enhancing protection

3. Curative Action: Cymoxanil acts locally to limit sporulation post-infection

Rainfast & Residual Action

• Becomes rainfast within 2–3 hours and has lasting efficacy even after light showers

Usage & Dosage

• Rate: 40 g per 20 L water (≈2 kg/ha)

• Spray Interval: Every 7–12 days; during high disease pressure, more frequent application (every 7–10 days)

• Pre-harvest Interval: Minimum 10 days before harvest
