Indications and Usage

• Used on livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, camels), poultry, and dogs to control:

  • Ticks, fleas, lice, mange mites, biting flies, tsetse flies

  • Insect pests in animal housing and poultry sheds

• Also suitable for environmental pest control in poultry houses (e.g. red mites)

Mode of Action

• Alpha‑cypermethrin acts by disrupting sodium channels in pest nervous systems, leading to rapid knockdown and death

• Offers contact and ingestion activity with long residual effect and low toxicity to mammals

Dosage & Administration (Typical Guidelines)

• Cattle, camels: 1 mL per L water (1:1000 dilution)

• Sheep/goats: 0.75 – 1 mL per L water (≈1:750–1:1000)

• Poultry red mites/fl in barns: 1 mL per L (≈1:750–1:1000)

• Animal houses/poultry sheds: 100 mL per 20 L water (covers large area)

• Treatments may be repeated every 7–14 days depending on infestation level

Safety, Withdrawal & Precautions

• Withdrawal period:
  Meat: ~7 days; Milk: follow label guidelines (usually nil or minimal)
